It was a delight to be working with Peter again. He has so much knowledge and passion for the work and a contagious energy. Very refreshing. I just finished a Restoration workshop with him where Peter expertly combines truth and style. A great stretch for the acting muscles. Voice and Alexander coach Dorothy Ward was also in class for the final week. Learned a lot. Definitely worth your time.

Peter's unbelievable abundance of knowledge is not something that can be accessed on the internet or taken out of a book. The diversity of subjects upon which he can speak with authority, notably one half hour session about Elizabethan Falconry, are always delivered with humor and patience. Having recently taken part in Peter's Restoration Workshop class, I can say without hesitation that any actor interested in the classics is utterly foolish not to use the invaluable resource that is the Wylde Project. Peter's love for the work and craft is inspiring.

I just finished Peter's Restoration project, and I can relax! My tension going in was eased once I realised that his long experience meant he could push each of us just to that critical point where one is doing things previously thought impossible, but I never felt my failures en route were anything but necessary steps to new successes. He is experienced and charismatic, but most of all he is in love, with his subject and his pupils.

Peter Wylde’s The Zone of Silence is truly a wonderful and unique learning experience. Partaking in this class enabled me to gain profound insight applicable not only to acting but life in general. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested. The Zone of Silence embarks students on a fantastic journey of self-discovery and inner awareness.

I took the Zone of Silence class with Peter, and was extremely wowed from start to finish. This is a truly exceptional method of developing stronger acting skills, taught by a sensitive, lovely and wise instructor. This is a great class for anyone wanting to go deeper into their practice.

I had the privilege of studying the Zone of Silence with Peter and he is the first teacher who has ever taught me to just "BE" onstage. I graduated with a BFA in Acting and I've performed all throughout my life. Despite several years of training, however, Peter is the only teacher I have ever worked with, who made sense of acting and what acting REALLY means. If you have the opportunity to work with him, take it.

I have taken Peter's "Zone of Silence", Acting II and the Shakespeare course. Each course was truly enlightening and moved me closer to my 'acting muscles'The Zone of Silence is an experience that any type of performer should go through. It is challenging and at times confusing, but you come out a stronger person, let alone a stronger actor.I feel privileged to have worked with Peter. I highly recommend hi studio.

It is a truly inspiring experience to work with Peter Wylde; he is a fountain of knowledge who does not just coach and impart his techniques, but rather rediscovers them alongside you. It is rare as an actor, even more so as an acting student, to find a place where one can not only act but explore roles and choices without fear of judgement. Peter has built such a place for all of us to enjoy. I would recommend the studio to any actor, experienced or brand new, without a hint of hesistation. I can only wait to see what my future endeavours with The Wylde Project will bring.Victor Pokinko

Peter Wylde is a gift. I highly recommend both the Zone of Silence and Shakespeare classes. The Zone is a great way to either re-ground yourself or as an introductory to new actors. In the Shakespeare class you will not only delve into the depth of the text, but the historical context of the work as well. It is a very thorough and enjoyable process.I am so thankful that Peter exists!

I would recommend the Zone of Silence (taught at the Wylde Project) to any performer, because this course is the base of any performance practice - for anyone who wants to be a true performing artist. It all starts from the base. How to be truthful and how to stay that way in performance. And Peter is a master teacher, he is there to facilitate your own discoveries.I look forward to having the chance to study with Peter again, hopefully very soon.

I took The Zone of Silence with Peter Wylde at The Wylde Project. I was thinking of the Zone of Silence yesterday, reading over my journal, as I have been often. The Zone has opened the door for what I can do as an actor - it has released what has always been there and given me a direction to move into - moving into the fear and tension...it has awakened me in the best way...and it feels magnificent!!!

I have had the honour this summer of meeting and working with Peter. I took two of his classes: The Zone of Silence and Shakespeare and I could not have had a better time. Zone of Silence is an extremely demanding improv class where you get to explore your entire emotional and creative range. What you learn never leaves you, which is a sign to me of both its value and importance to any actor at any level. I traveled from Ottawa to take this class and by the end, I never wanted to go home.Peter's Shakespeare Class was also extremely valuable. Most drama schools teach Shakespeare, but it is extremely rare to have someone who is so knowledgeable about every aspect of both the language and the society. Despite having a base mostly in Shakespeare, I found myself constantly learning new things and it showed in the quality of the work that my classmates and I were able to accomplish. For anyone who wants to master Shakespeare, Peter is the best resource you will find.I cannot state enough how valuable Peter is as a teacher. Having taught at three of the top theatre schools in Canada (NTS, George Brown and Ryerson) getting taught by him is something very special. He always wants to push you to do your best work, and I left every class inspired to do even better next time. If that is not the perfect combination that you could want out of theatre classes, I don't know what is.
