EMH is a great resource for actors. They offer a wonderful way for you to connect with casting directors and their associates (who will eventually be CDs). It's a great place to network and meet a bunch of really cool people in the entertainment community. They also produce content, which gives all of us a place to put our craft on display!

EMH is a great resource for Casting Workshops in Los Angeles. EMH seems to attract a lovely bunch of quality actors, as well as busy working CDs & Associates. The prices are competitive, while still maintaining smaller class sizes. The woman who runs the workshop, Elise, is wonderful about helping you find the best CDs and workshops available for you. Overall it attracts a great community of actors, producers, & Casting industry guests.

Elise who heads up EMH is a talented artist writer director herself who is beyond actor friendly and supportive. I have been to many workshop there at have been called in to audition and booked by casting directors I met at EMH. I know it's a gamble and hard to trust people in this industry and we are responsible for our own careers but Elise is the real deal.

I have been doing workshops with EMH for a few years now and for good reasons. The actors are always very good, and there is a sense of community there. It is so nice to do workshops in a place where you feel supported by your peers rather than judged. Elise, the owner, is organized and a very hard worker. She cares about each of us, and tries to give us as many opportunities as she can. She is an actor, writer, and director with great insight into the industry. She keeps the workshops smaller so that the casting directors can really get to know us. Through EMH I have learned a lot and developed relationships with casting directors resulting in some very good opportunities. Come check it out!

I really like EMH. I like Elise, who runs it, I like the students (feels like a comminity), and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I like the connections to Casting Directors. Their new setup allows for A LOT of personal attention, as they have a max of 14 students per workshop. There a slit screen video which allows the CD to see you both in real life and on screen. (both skill sets). All in all, Elise, who runs the program, does a FABULOUS job of personally coaching you on which CDS are right for YOU, and really gets to know you and your strengths as an actor. This personal attention is not at all other places, and really means tailored cd workshops.

EMH Productions is all about helping actors find a networking path for themselves with casting directors. Not all workshops are right for every actor, so this is a place where you get guidance and support from the organizer of the workshops and from your fellow actors. This is a place to really jump start or revitalize your career!
